Blue Mind, expressed through movement and water
At Yacht Club Yoga, the ocean is more than our setting — it’s woven into how we move, breathe, and connect.
This artwork brings that feeling into visual form, translating our practice into colour, flow, and presence.
Created especially for Yacht Club Yoga by Melbourne-based watercolour artist and Yacht Club Yogi Sheryl Cole, Blue Mind Movement reflects the essence of our community and the rhythm of practicing by the sea.

The inspiration

Inspired by the fluidity and calm of water, this watercolour evokes ease, sensory connection, and a visual expression of flow and mindfulness.
Much like Yacht Club Yoga itself, it embodies balance, grace, and the restorative energy of the ocean. The work invites you to drift with the current — to soften, float, and reconnect with your senses.
Rooted in the quiet rhythm of water and yoga, the painting reflects a blue-minded state: calm, clear, and gently alive with movement. It mirrors the way our practices unfold — fluid, meditative, and ever-changing.
