WHO IS THIS FOR?
New to yoga? Start with the foundations.
This workshop is for anyone who has wanted to try yoga but perhaps felt unsure about walking into a class, wondered whether they’re “flexible enough”, or simply wants to understand the basics.
Over four weeks, you’ll learn at an easy pace, ask questions and discover ways to adapt yoga to your body.
No experience required.
No need to be flexible.
Just come as you are.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
WEEK 1
Yoga + Breath
What is yoga and what can it mean for you? Explore basic yoga philosophy and learn how to connect movement with breath.
WEEK 2
Forward Folds + Twists
Learn foundational postures, alignment and modifications to make poses work for your body.
WEEK 3
Gentle Backbends + Side Body
Explore safe, accessible ways to create strength, mobility and space through the body.
WEEK 4
Flow With Ease
Bring everything together in a simple yoga flow, followed by a guided meditation.

THE BIG TAKEAWAY
Learn the foundations. Build your confidence. Find a yoga practice that works for you.
By the end of the four weeks, you’ll have a better understanding of common yoga poses, how to modify them, how to move with your breath and what to expect when you join a regular yoga class.
And we’ll give you one complimentary Yacht Club Yoga class so you can put it all into practice.
Meet Larissa Lewis
Larissa has been teaching yoga in Melbourne for around six years and is currently studying yoga therapy.
She loves helping people find their own yoga — a practice that works for their individual body and helps them move a little better, breathe a little easier and feel just that little bit lighter.
Her philosophy is beautifully simple:
If you can breathe, you can do yoga.
